How to Compare Wireless and Underwire Bra Samples
By LXSC · Sourcing and product-development guides

Use this method to compare the fit of two identified bra samples, not to declare one construction universally better. The sample size must suit the wearer in each model; the same printed label can refer to different measurements. Seamless appearance and wire presence should be recorded separately.
Use the same wearer and the correct size
Select consenting adult participants whose relevant measurements match the proposed sample sizes. Give each participant a private identifier. Record both product charts, model codes and actual size selections; do not force equal labels if the charts differ.
Keep the outer garment, setting, activity and observation period as comparable as practical. Alternate the trial order where useful and record changes in conditions. Do not infer a whole population's preference from one wearer or a single demonstration.
Record support, pressure and movement separately
Ask the wearer to describe observations rather than supply only an overall score. Note where gaping, pressure, movement or adjustment occurs and under which activity. Stop if discomfort occurs; this is garment evaluation, not a medical test.
| Observation | Sample A | Sample B |
|---|---|---|
| Model, size and adjustment | To record | To record |
| Band position and movement | To observe | To observe |
| Cup coverage and shape | To observe | To observe |
| Strap or closure adjustment | To observe | To observe |
| Pressure or discomfort location | To record or mark none reported | To record or mark none reported |
| Wearer's preference and reason | To record | To record |
Repeat relevant checks after the agreed care procedure
Measure the same garment points before and after the agreed washing and drying conditions. Record the process and completed cycle count. Inspect cup shape, seams or bonded joins, straps, closures and wire channels where present.
Repeat the comparable fit observations using the same documented settings. A change in adjustment may explain a different result, so record it. A short trial is not evidence of lifetime durability or a clinical safety comparison.
Turn observations into specific supplier questions
Translate a result into an actionable question: does the approved size chart need clarification, is a component out of specification, or does the model simply not suit the intended customer? Distinguish a fit preference from a manufacturing defect.
Use the record alongside comparable price, availability and trial-sales data when deciding what to buy. LXSC catalogue styles have a minimum of 100 pieces per model; colour and size allocation is confirmed in the quote. This fit exercise does not establish which category will sell faster.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should both samples use the same size label?+
Not necessarily. Select the correct size in each model using its actual chart, then document the comparison.
Does one wearer's preference establish a wholesale winner?+
No. It is one observation under stated conditions, not a representative sales or fit result for all customers.
Send your model or project requirements, quantities, size and color plan, and destination. Julie can confirm the applicable order route and what the quotation includes.
Existing-style wholesale starts from 100 pieces per model. Original-design custom production starts from 10,000 pieces. Color and size allocation, branding and packaging terms are confirmed separately.
