Seamless Underwear Sourcing: Check Fabric, Gusset and Edge Finish

By LXSC · Sourcing and product-development guides

LXSC sourcing guide: catalogue wholesale from 100 pieces per model; new-design development from 10,000 pieces
LXSC sourcing guide cover. It is not a product photograph, factory-process record or test result.

Second skin and no-show describe a desired wearing effect, not a complete specification. For ordinary seamless briefs, identify the body fabric, gusset, joins, edge finish and sizing separately. This guide does not establish a verified LXSC panties catalogue or stock availability, and it is not a period-underwear performance guide.

Identify the cut and each material

Describe the rise, rear coverage, leg shape and waistband. Ask for the body fabric and gusset composition separately; a cotton gusset does not mean the whole garment is cotton. Record material references, colour and sample version.

A product may use sewn, bonded and cut edges in different locations. Ask which process applies to each part. Do not assume that cutting with a laser automatically seals every fabric or that bonding always produces a durable, curl-free edge.

Evaluate the intended no-show effect

Compare the sample under the intended outer garment and lighting conditions. Record visible edge lines, coverage and movement using the correct size. A flat product photograph does not establish invisibility on a wearer.

After the agreed care procedure, check dimensions, recovery, edge curling, join integrity and gusset attachment. Document the method and number of completed cycles. Do not convert a short sample evaluation into a promised product lifetime.

Keep special claims outside ordinary appearance checks

Antibacterial, recycled-content, moisture-management or other performance wording needs appropriate evidence and a defined scope. The name of a fibre or a soft hand feel is not sufficient proof. Keep candidate materials, tested properties and current supply status in separate fields.

An ordinary briefs inspection cannot establish absorbency or leak resistance. If the requirement is for an absorbent product, use a separate layer specification and functional test brief instead of reusing this checklist.

Confirm feasibility before planning an assortment

Ask whether an identified model is currently available, needs development or cannot be supplied. Request physical samples and the actual size and colour range before planning matching sets or multipacks. A general lingerie catalogue does not prove that a matching bottom exists.

For an original LXSC design, custom production starts from 10,000 pieces, subject to feasibility and confirmed allocation. The 100-piece minimum per existing catalogue model does not establish availability of an unverified panties design. Submit the specification for assessment before treating it as a stock product.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a cotton gusset mean the whole panty is cotton?+

No. Record the composition of the body and gusset separately.

Can I use ordinary seamless briefs as evidence of period-underwear capability?+

No. Absorbent products need their own construction, performance and supply verification.
